Is Your Rehab Center for Me?

If you are a woman 18 years of age or older, suffering from drug addiction, alcohol addiction, dual diagnosis or an eating disorder, then our rehab center could be for you. We say “could be” because we won't know until we match your needs with the services we provide. That is our best guide and should be yours. Just because we are one of the “top” rehabs in the country, doesn't mean we will be the most effective rehab for you. Our rehab staff is trained to carefully evaluate each person on an individual basis. Is a Women's Rehab Center Better than a Coed Rehab?

While some women will do just fine in a coed rehab center, our philosophy is that rehab is challenging enough without additional distractions. A women's rehab center allows women to:

• Focus on why they are in rehab
• Begin to form intimate and trusting relationships with other women
• Develop future support systems
• Address "sensitive issues" in a safe and secure environment without the fear or worry of what men will think or say

How Long Do I Have to Be in Rehab?

There is no set period of time for you to be in rehab as that all depends on your history, types of addictions or disorders, psychiatric issues, willingness, motivation and how you respond to rehab. Research has shown the longer a person stays in rehab, the better the likelihood they will recover.

Does Your Rehab Center Treat Dual Diagnosis?

Absolutely. The Women's Center for Healthy Living specializes in dual diagnosis treatment. As a center that treats addictions, eating and associated disorders, a dual diagnosis at our facility could mean the coexistence of drug addiction and an eating disorder or an eating disorder and psychiatric illness. In either case, we treat both coexisting disorders concurrently.

Does Your Rehab Center Treat Women Who Are Gay?

Yes our rehab center provides medically based inpatient alcohol and drug detox services directed by board certified physicians trained in addiction medicine and credentialed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. We are able to treat a multitude of medical issues, as well as manage any withdrawal symptoms.

What Is Your Rehab Campus Like?

The campus at our rehab center is best described as a non hospital setting with a relaxed atmosphere. We created a "real world" environment so our patients are provided an opportunity to put into practice that which they have learned in rehab.
