Founders Mission of our Women's Treatment Program

The Women's Center for Healthy Living was founded by several partners who have been involved in the world of addiction and eating disorder treatment for over 26 years. After having developed several successful co-ed treatment programs, they realized there was very few treatment programs that specialized in the treatment of women's issues Women were generally 鈥渇orced鈥� to attend male oriented treatment programs even though they had to address issues such as; rape, incest, eating disorders or body image. In most cases, their shame, self loathing and fear of being judged stood in the way of them taking full advantage of their treatment experience. Committed to providing a first class women's treatment program, the partners created a treatment environment and clinical program which has become renowned throughout the country.
